Too good to scrap? Luke's V6 Amby

Postby Luke » Wed Mar 29, 2006 7:49 pm

This is the amby i got of Tony (midniteclassix) i was origanally going to scrap it and steal the engine for my mk1 - but after a quick look round it seems pritty tidy and "too good to scrap" i think i'll have that engraved on my gravestone :D - anyone who knows me will understand
The engine is still coming out but it wouldn't be a problem to chuck another engine in!! the millage shows 50k dunno if its 150k but i could believe 50K judging by the interior - but how many miles do they do before leaving service :?:

tyre shredding???
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

yep thats what i think, its very efficient with the space it has, standing room too!! 8) at the moment im using the van to store spares in - and wont be getting rid for some time! as i come across bits it needs i'll fit them - ive allready got the mirrors, it didnt have the headlights when i got it - ive also got a better grill and bumper to fit!!

I did try to tempt Will to have it and convert it to a camper but he's a busy man!! :D

If anyone reading this fancy's it to do a camper conversion on it, it will be for sale, just not with a v6 engine i'll fit a 2.0 pinto!! :D - i'll not put it in the for sale section cos it's a bit inconvenient to get rid just yet!! :D
