LeeJ's Transit. I'm quite new, be gentle....

Postby Lee J » Tue Nov 29, 2005 3:23 pm

Here is my Transit. I bought this in August. It is a 2001 LWB M/roof. 2.5 TD, quite nippy for a big van. since I bought it I have partitioned the back and created a passenger section. I have a band and I needed to drive 4 of us in comfot to and from gig's. So then I took the original 3 seater bench out and carpeted and lined the walls and fitted 2 new passenger seats out of a DAF truck. These recline and are really comfy. I then curtained the window and thats about as far as i've got. Here is a couple of pictures...

The day I picked it up....

The new seats are fitted ...

I have since fitted a rear step and ply lined the back section out. I am set to fit some speakers in the back and a DVD system too.

hope you like what i've done so far.

Comments/suggestions/critisism welcome....

the seats cost me £30 each and I found them on good old ebay. They're out of a new DAF truck. They we're still wrapped in the plastic covering too.
