LWB Mk2 minibus

My first photobucket customer, these are photos courtesy of Edward, but he didn't give me his forum ID.

Hi Fred
This 1982 130 bus is 2.0l Pinto 3 speed auto 47k. Now has bull bars as you can see. I'm blasting/spraying wheels at the moment but its a long job.
Regards Ed

Pleased you all like it. I have had it for two and a half years and done/spent a bit on it. I only bought it to move units and then it kind of stuck. Originally Light Blue, it is Olympic Blue I'm convinced. I have been to Morellis and thats the best guess, it was hand painted with cellulose but good job considering. I'm now trying to do a good bonnet /front panel and doors job off the vehicle. I have concluded that i really like this colour - its almost kind of glows for some reason - must have a long half-life??
The km tacho says its done 45k miles which seems true when you inspect things like discs or motor.
Its one of those vans thats suffererd more from NOT beeing run i.e. rust y underneath of bonnet and rotted n seized caliper. I have found some q/d old 747 seats(3) for it - must fix them soon.
I am after parts for it so if you ever see any rubber wheel arches pleeeeeeeeeeez let me know. :)

Blast from the past - resurecting this thread -saw it in google images and thought it was an old one of my van! The nearest match for the colour I could get was Ford Cargo Blue, which matched both the paint code and inside colours of my van, there are several different shades of it though.
