Help with Mk2 wheel nuts and studs

Postby paddywaters » Fri Nov 07, 2008 6:01 pm

Hi There,
I have just bought a 1981 mk2 coachbuilt dormobil which i think is great.
As i was driving it the rear wheel nearly fell off!! i need to replace the studs and wheel nuts.
I have been calling many different places and i cant even find helpful info, just some bemused mechanic that tells me its too old and the computer says no. So i dont quite know what to do.
Can anyone tell me if i can source the parts, where i might do this. Or can i use something else. at the moment i think i am going to have to store it somewhere and leave it for a while but i would like to get it up and going asap.
I really dont want to sell it for scrap just because i cant find 5 studs!
thanks for any info.
All the best

Paddy

Single Wheel or Twin Wheel ?, 5 Stud or 6 Stud ?, Nearside or Offside ?, should be able to supply all options.
Old transits need never die just keep mending em!
