me old 1999 has just met its end in a ditch thanks to black ice
need to keep the show on the road with another similar !!
must be SWB with a bosch pump.
forlorn hope these days I expect.

tnx vy much for the thought but yes the 2.5d banana engine is wot one was after - makes sense as I now have 2 in the yard as scrappers. My first van was a lwb smiley with the petrol engine, happy memories of defeating an errant automatic choke with a spanner jammed in the butterfly...the van is required for local service in Orkney, in a very damp and quite salt environment. so really the diesel is preferred. once the body goes, we at least get left with a nice marinisable small boat engine. the petrol is not really suitable for marinising these days.
