cruise control

Hi All
I have a transit custom nov 2013 owned from new 102k miles, over the last year or so the cruise control button on the steering wheel fails to engage the cruise control ,then after a while on another day it seems to work fine has any body else had the same issue.
I have also lost the hill hold function some time ago.

clutch pedal switch or brake light switch, both disable cruise control.

Hi Graham thanks for your help so far, are you saying it could be a fault with the clutch pedal switch / brake light switch

yes could be either. both are easy to check/replace for little cost. Could also be something more complicated. i had a data bus fault on mine which was rather more difficult to locate and fix.See my old thread. Clutch and brake switch good place to start. Sometimes the brake switch sticks on which disables the cruise. Same with the clutch switch.
