Hi all, new to this wonderful forum, if this posted in the wrong area please forgive me..
I have 2019 2.0ltr Transit Chassis Cab Tipper.. about 2 weeks ago it went into limp mode on journey to yard, got it back to yard ok.. next morning it failed to start.. the intank pump was growling something rotten.. scanned the ECU with Autel.. came back with P1212.64 pressure command below threshold.. and P008B low pressure fuel supply to high.. so with this in mind and a previous issue with a Ford Ranger, we went ahead and changed the intank pump and fuel filter.. (filter had appeared to of collapsed) The van is serviced every 10,000 miles and the filter had only done 6,000miles..
Engine still fails to start.. same codes still present.. so we had an diagnostic expert come and do what we hope was better job than we could.. £280 later he came up with the high pressure pump being the fault.. OK fair enough these things happen… went ahead and changed high pressure pump and wet belt whilst we were in there..
Several cycles of the ignition to get fuel to the pump.. and still no engine choochin.. still fails to start.. same codes as above still present..
Has anyone on here experienced similar issues? We’ve also checked the fuel for water contamination.. all good..
Thanks in advance for the help..
