dumper wrote:I’d remove the xmember and check all the bushes your xmember is stepped down so is a proper one one of the o/d boxes I fitted to a mk3 I had to modify a standard one by lowering the centre mount and never had a problem.if this is a new problem and you have not had a problem till now then it’s got to be the rubber mounting on your photo you have a ratchet strap holding the centre mount down so that should stop it lifting so I’d be looking at the side mounting.
