Is the Mk1 Landliner factory built? or a conversion

Postby phatographer » Fri Apr 25, 2008 8:04 pm

i know im a noobie but i was told the landliner was one of the rarest models of mk1s made was wondering how true that was? and as the title says was it built like it is by ford or by someone else.

just want to learn a bit more.

have posted pics in another thread of my landliner.

the landliner is built by CI caravan internatnal, it,s a cut down LWB van, if you look underneath they still have the van sills and rear panel, cut level with ribbed floor which is still there,

Try here for pics...

Didn't realise that the Landliner was a CI conversion. Seems almost halfway between a pop-top and full coachbuilt. How many does it sleep?

it seems designed for 4 if you include the bunks which have been taken out of mine but the bed can take 3 top 'n' tail very easily

And? I think it's easier to have them in this thread, specially seen as Comet asked for them. People still get caught out by following links and end up being off the forum, insted of the link opening another window, me included.
