Ford Transit 120 TDI EPIC Automatic. 0-60 in a leisurely and smooth 12.7 seconds and 1/4 mile in 19.1 seconds. Now where's all these faster? manual Di s?

can't see how you can work 0-60 from the ¼mile time without factoring in the ET - even then it's got to be a guess - for example that atom vs the chevy V8 (videos on you tube) the atom shot off like a bullet then the chevy just passed it before the line 8)

anyways todays update this evening :D not that theres much of it :|

today i was getting the engine out i think if it was summer i'd have managed it in 1 day but frostbite was setting in :lol: i miss the summer evenings :!: - i'm not really a winter person :x :D

here's a pic my dad took - he could have told me i had my FORD hat on sideways :roll: :lol:

yea its probly bollox,only thing i did find was a 2005 aston martin vantage runs 13.2 on the 1/4 and 0-60 in 4.9 :wink:

good progress today :) braver man than me,i been in the warm all day :lol:

cant beat a v8 on the 1/4 watched britains so called quickest skyline get munched by a ford prefect at North Weald :lol: :lol:

got my FORD hat on the right way round this time :lol:

took a bit of pulling the dash to bits to get to the ecu and loom plugs :D

and proof this engine had some power......... it'd broke off both engine mounts :shock: was only resting there :o
