yeah got both grounds, 62ohms on the can bus high and low, both giving about 2v the elm327 (works ok on my mk6) its got 5 lights on it rxobd isnt flashing on the interface checked cable for chafing but dissapears along the dash. (mabe should check it with dash removed lol) still wont start, giving me this 16 code and does the same with the ecu removed.

What year mk7 is this ?
Twin or single batteries ?
Have you ever seen it run,how did this 'issue' come about :?:

its a mk7 twin batterys, lab powerpack wired up set at 13.8v draws 3.6a at the most so no glow plugs or starter motor. both batterys are good 12.6v they do the same as the lab power pack. keys are ok seems like the immo modules not talking to the ecu and the ecu is not responding to obd2 some sort of wiring fault, cleaned and replaced dogey earths. it cut out on the motorway after 6h and never started again.

its a 2007, mk7 100 tdci lwb looks clean enough no waterlogged connectors ect

been working on these tests this afternoon, ill probly move on to measuring the connectors tomorrow

Hi Did you ever resolve the DEAD van problem ? I have the same van and the same problem and would be most interested to hear your outcome.

Thread is 5 years old and he hasn't been on here since October last year...so I suspect we'll never know.
