my 2003 ex posty transit

heres my 2003 75 ps transit . post office red (if you coudnt tell) lots of battle scars at the monent :?

so far iv fitted front fog lights , 15" aez alloy wheels , mk7 rear lights ,

respray comming soon

spent a whole weekend cleaning the cab , took out all seats and bulkhead , also covered the bulk head with black box cloth (bass box carpet)

i really like those alloys on a mk6 8) - theres one near me in sliver with them :D

are you respraying it a different colour or the same :?:

hi its going to be ford radiant red , iv been quoted £700 all in to respray it that includes taking out or filling all the dents .......do you think that sound about right ? :?

700 sounds cheap - if you've seen some of their work and your happy its a bargain - if you've not it's likely to be a crap job :?

thats what i was thinking , iv been quoted between £500 - £2000 so quite a price range ,,,the cheapest was just to blow it over ......leaving all the dents in there so didnt see much point of that :?:

what do you think a fair job should cost?

yeah £1100 is a good deal if it's a pukka job 8) we were gonna get the cossy mk6 done for a grand as the guy we know had no work on - really top sprayer 8) but works picked up so he now wants £1500 and thats still cash in hand :) but you snooze you loose :lol:

luke you say that you have a cossie mk6 ?

theres a parts place up the road from me in kings lynn
they have just gen ford bits they have a ebay shop called allpartsford
theres piles of stuff there all of its new old stock ..ie 80 s 90 s every thing from gen car mat set to engines brand new in creates
deff worth a look if theres any thing you need give him a shout
loads of transit bits aswell :wink:

nah :lol: only thing we've done since the end of the thread is fit mk7 back lights - but ive not got a pic yet :lol:
hopefully one day it will get done - just seem to have so many projects not enought time or space :lol:

Always like that post office red, looks good paint as it is. Does not earn any more money, even with a £1000 paint job. Nice van M8. J.L.
