Hey folks,
I have an Alloy Bodies Manchester Luton body on a 2005 350 125 which has developed this problem and I'm wondering if I might need to trade vans.
If I end up getting a MK7 or MK8 model, does anyone know how the luton body with trim and all around the cab will fit? Is it simply a case of undoing bolts and electric wiring, getting it lifted onto a new chassis cab and doing up the bolts and wiring? The tail lift is usually part of the body and not related to the chassis from what I can see.
Are all chassis cabs the same length or do I need to get a LWB one or perhaps another one even?
Has anyone done this with a body from Alloy Bodies Manchester, and how did it work with the trimming around the cab? I'm thinking it might be different and won't fit in the same way? Also, what kind of cost would be involved I wonder?
